Scott is a subject matter expert (SME) in sales, corporate education, project consulting, and performance coaching. A diverse background, he has taught target marketing, territory management, sales process, energy management and interpersonal communication skills to senior executives, managers, and top sales and marketing executives from leading companies around the globe, including; Morgan Stanley, Diageo, The Capital Group, Macquarie, Pacific Life, Sprint-Nextel, Goldman Sachs, Merrill Lynch, Johnson & Johnson Human Performance Institute, MetLife, Lincoln Financial Group, Itaú, American Express, CNL Financial Group, Kimberly Clark, Manulife Financial, The House of Seagram, New York Life, JPMorgan Chase & Co., AXA Investment Managers, Wyndham Resorts and Franklin Templeton Investments.

FOCUS

At Trivium Performance Scott works almost exclusively with executives and teams, Scott’s focus is on helping clients craft, design, deliver and get better results from meetings, presentations and phone calls. A well respected corporate communication consultant, clients call on Scott to help them with problem presenters, weak or inconsistent messaging, ineffective marketing campaigns, disengaged, unaware or uninspired members on the team, in addition to helping clients increase efficiencies to maximize time, money and resources. More than 25 clients, many in the Fortune 100, have tapped Scott’s expertise in messaging. Scott’s expertise is in helping to create comprehensive Playbooks’ for corporate clients. He has personally crafted messages and designed over 200 ‘sample’ client presentations, facilitated more than 350 multi-day communication skills seminars, personally coached over 3,000 executives and critiqued over 20,000 presentations. An engaging speaker, Scott has conducted seminars and delivered keynote presentations to groups at national sales conferences, industry conferences, symposiums and breakout sessions throughout the United States, Canada, Australia, Brazil, and Puerto Rico.

BACKGROUND

Scott received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Kinesiology from The College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia. An exceptional athlete, he was twice named Southern Conference Defensive Player of the Week and received All-Southern Conference honors in football. Scott is a member of the Epsilon Iota Alumni Chapter of Sigma Nu Fraternity.

Coach and Athlete Magazine selected Scott to the 1974 Prep All-America High School Football 100 Squad Cum Laude. He still retains his high school pole-vault record he set the same year. Scott was inducted into the Lafayette High School Athletic Hall of Fame in 2004.

He still loves to compete in tennis or golf, and spend quality time William and Mary vs. Navy, Annapolis, MD, Circa 1975
with his two children, Kelly and Jeff. He and his family live near
Hilton Head Island, South Carolina.
